Question about bills

Hi. Dunno if this is in the right forum, so if it's not, my apologies, and mods feel free to move it!!

Okay, so I'm in the process of buying an apartment. Transaction should be completed at the end of this month, and I hope to be in in mid-September. The question I have is about electricity and heating. The apartment is gas fired central heating. When it comes to billing this, is it part of the ESB electricity bill, or is it something different entirely? Sorry if this is a noob question, but I'm a first-time buyer and completely new to this whole thing!

That's cool. And this is probably too specific a question, but who provides the heating?

I dont quite understand your question.
The central heating radiators will run off the gas fired boiler and Bord Gais will issue bills for the gas used. This should also heat hot water.

That's exactly what I was looking for! I meant who issues the bill, ie ESB for electrcity. Thanks a million. Sorry about the cryptic nature of my questions.
