Got through the whole online process fairly easily.
Mines a real long shot based on summer jobs, don't have the 3 years residence but outside chance could get the contributions and we're talking 80s and 90s here! Originally I was just trying to get a few more towards Irish 2080.
One year is fine with 52 and I'm sure I could have more but suspect employers may not have been returning properly (cash businesses with brown envelopes but deductions marked!) so that could be a bit of work. I did get one or two tax rebates so hoping that might help identify stuff.
Then I got this??

Don't know what it means but would have expected more but why a cash amount rather than no of weeks? Clearly not a full year?
Then another page "view your state pension summary" says
"You currently have 4 years on your record and you need at least 10 years to get any State Pension" but bar 2 years the rest are "year is not full" so where the did the 4 come from (not complaining if i have them!)
It actually lists the amounts I'd have to pay "see payable gaps" but maybe that's because it doesn't know I'm long gone from UK, and it mainly seems to be class 3, maybe that's the default. If qualified at all hoped it would be 2 as was working immediately before leaving.
Suspect I'll need to ring and its all so long ago
BTW got my NI number fairly easy by dropping in to the office in Newry and giving them photo ID and some of the addresses I was at!
