I have been making stage payments as part of the buying process and should have completion within the next three weeks.
Following the first stage payment, my bank sent out the Mortgage Interest - Tax Relief at Source (TRS1) form. Over the last couple of months, I have been making repayments in proportion to the amount drawndown to date.
I didn't return the form at the time and was about to fill it out and return to the revenue just now. I notice that it asks for current address and address of the property thats been mortgaged. Seeing as I will be residing at the mortgaged property, maybe it would be best to wait a couple of weeks and send it back when i've moved in - otherwise, might confuse the revenue into sending me a bill for stamp duty?
