Hi Folks,
Looking for some advice, currently on a 9 month contract with no expiration date....just a statement to the effect the contact is for a maternity leave and the anticipated end to this contract period is September 2011.
I hope to finish up mid Sept, as I hope to return to education and have already informed my manager of this about 3 weeks ago, however have yet to put in writing as I'm waiting on confirmation of any bonus emtitlement.
The notice period in the contract is 3 months but as the return to education was only confirmed at the end of July I was already 1 month into the 3 month notice period and informed my manager as soon as everything was confirmed.
I'm just wondering is this something that could become an issue, not giving the full 3 months notice?
