I'm replacing my taps in the kitchen and all the really nice ones seem to be quarter turn taps - I currently have cheap and nasty full turn taps.
My water pressure was confirmed as 3-bar - is this strong enough to have quarter turn taps as I was told that if the pressure wan't strong enough the water would splutter out with 1/4 turn taps.

Thanks

I haven't a clue what my water pressure is but it seems reasonably powerful, i.e. if you turn on the cold water full it sprays back a bit at you! Anyhow, I replaced my bath taps with 1/4 turn taps and there's been no problem.

You could contact your local council and they may give you an "unofficial" idea of what your water pressure is.

We have those 1/4 turn taps and have a 3 bar pump, the pressure is wild:)
Based on my experience the only problem will be getting splashed
