QS in midlands?

Can anyone recommend a QS in the midlands?

I tried the golden pages, and also their society webpage, but there seem to be very few.....

There are over 300 members of the SCS(society of chartered surveyors) in and around the midlands between offaly, kildare, carlow! I could not recommend any as i do not practise up there! I know there are some firms in Kilkenny that are quite good, not sure what it would cost you; what type of work are you looking for?

It's for a new build.....

Got a not so great architect at the start of this process - so I wanted to get a recommendation on this.....

How local should a QS be?
I'm in westmeath and most are in Mullingar..... but I'm closer to Athlone!

Realistically, dont need to be close at all if its just a bill of Quantities you want as a spec to send to a builder all you have to do, is send on your drawings and let him no of the standard of finish you are looking for. Should get a bill no problem mullingar or athlone just get a price from them for a BOQ first! and a simple phone call once you have the drawings sent will sort it out!
