Hi lads,
Does this represent the ISEQ index?

I just seen some conflicting info on their website, it said it doesn't track the ISEQ...

confused

thanks,
joe

You could argue that it basically tracks the ISEQ I suppose as the website states

Shares are held in each of the largest 20 companies in the Irish Stock Exchange (ISEQ) Index. The fund provides a total return in that dividends are reinvested.

The 20 largest companies will have a large bearing on how well the ISEQ performs.

Thanks,
And the bit about 'the fund provides a total return, in that dividends are re invested'
how does this one work in practice? each time a company, decides to make a dividend to its shareholder, the fund reinvests?

Help!

Pretty much, yes. This is standard among almost all mutual funds.

The fund itself doesn't seem to be an exact ISEQ tracker. It was the best performing SSIA of any available in Ireland at the time they were expiring, substantially outperforming the ISEQ, but has underperformed the ISEQ slightly over the past 5 years / overperformed slightly over the past year.
