Just a quick question. I'm fairly sure I already know the answer but hope I'm wrong.
If you are under your credit card limit, but the interest at the end of the month when added has brought you over the limit, can the banks actually charge you the overlimit fee legitimately in that case? Is there any chance you can get that fee refunded in that case?
Seems very unfair to charge an overlimit fee when it is interest accrued that has caused it.
What made me ask is because I had both a late payment fee refunded and an overlimit fee refunded on my cc account when I rang to complain about these extra fees frustrating things on me. I didn't expect to get them back but the guy offered to do it for that month.
Just made me wonder have I been utterly mad not to have complained before this.
