PVC panels in shower

I am currently doing an extension job and would like to know if anyone has ever used or seen PVC panels on walls surrounding a shower (in particular "GEO Panels") I'm wondering how they will wear over time and if in fact they are truly 100% waterproof as claimed.
Opinions and knowledge would be appreciated.
 
I have used something similar in a few houses and I have also put something similar in a shop.
I think they are very good, never had an issue with them leaking. No problem with grout either. They may date but it is not an issue replacing like tiles. WE have had them in one house for the last 10 years and nothing broke.

Have a good look around at suppliers as there are now some fabulous designs. My mother just finished her entire bathroom in these and had a tile finish, You really struggle to tell the difference.

Also they are a lot warmer to touch than tiles
 
I have used the Grosfillex panels for two showers, easy enough to fit, easier than tiling anyway in my opinion. Have never leaked and one is upstairs in a converted attic so the shower enclosure frame is wood and there is a storeroom behind it so I can see right into the back and there have been no leaks. I also continued it along the partition wall between bathroom and storeroom instead of plasterboard, looks fine and have never been damaged.

I used a very plain one at the time but there are some lovely colours and finishes available, I love that it is warm to the touch too, one of the showers is very small and I don't like accidentally touching off cold tiles while in there :)
