In process of getting bathroom ripped out etc.

Fitter mentioned last night that instead of getting ceiling plastered he could put a PVC covering in and spot lights etc are easier to do.

He's going to drop a sample around during the week but it obviously won't look the same in my hand as it would on the ceiling.

Anyone ever seen this and is it as tacky as it sounds?

Thanks.

I have seen it done in a number of houses and it looks fine to me it looks very clean and hygenic looking.

Also - if dampness gets in between the pvc and the actual ceiling will it cause the plasterboard and or ceiling joists to rot?

Anyone know where you can get a PVC ceiling?

Tried a few places and I can't seem to get hold of it

cheers

Is it the stuff that you can put on bathroom walls etc that looks like tiles? If so I think Killester Bathrooms do it.

Got the PVC ceiling in and I have to say it looks good.

It does look very hygenic. Easier to clean and won't ever have to be painted.

So, who fix it for you? I heard about Flexo PVC ceilings, do you know any thing about?
