Hi all,
My mother is purchasing a property with 100% cash, so no mortgage. We are buying a property in london, which we are thinking of putting in my name to avoid the stamp duty and take advantage of the new first time buyers s.d.t of £250,000 - also to take advantage of furture CGT.
Only problem is that i have been out of work for a year, and consequently have a poor credit rating with a couple of maxed out credit cards and overdraft. The idea is for me to move back up to london, where i have been offered a job and then i can start to repay these and bring my credit score back up to scratch.
Will the credit cards and overdraft affect my ability to be put on the deeds and will it throw up any causes for concern?
Any input would be much appreciated.
Kind regards
