Hi...i hope thread title ok...sounds a bit odd but is exactly what i am thinking of doing. We been in our current home about 10 years. It is in a boggy area and the site is a filled site and soil quality poor. During some extension works last year we put in a new percolation area and brought in a lot of new topsoil and got a new lawn laid. The lawn is coming along grand but the ground is still quite soft.....gettng better all the time and with this dry weather definitely imroving. Given where we are it will never be perfect (unless we invest in expensive drainge with no guarentee it will work) but should be ok for what we want.....green soft kids play footie etc. I am toying with the idea of spreading sand on the lawn just to give it a bit of a help. Am wondering ifanyone done this and if it is worth it or is there no point.....Golf courses do it so i know grass will not be affected.....(not that i want a golf course for a gardn tho wud be nice!).....Ifanyone anything to offer i wold be happy to hear. Thanks all
Aido
