We have decided not to go ahead with a house purchase at the last minute i.e. exchange was to be at the end of Nov however we have not signed the contracts yet. I feel bad though as the mortgage broker has done alot of work for us arranging the mortage that we now wont need so basically I suppose he wont get paid his commission from the bank if we are not actually going to draw down the mortgage? Also theres all the work our solicitor has done, but I suppose we will have to pay him his fees regardless anyway. What a mess.
