Pull Cord for bathroom light?

Hi all

we have a pull cord in our bathroom for the lights. Over the weekend it seems that we must have pulled it too hard or something because now it just won't pull and we cannot turn on the lights. Does anyone know if we can just replace the pull cord unit or what would the problem be?

Chances are the internals of the switch have broken. These are easy enough to replace if you are comfortable working with electricity. Your local electrical whoesaler will stock replacement switches.

Thanks Leo will try a replacement this evening - if it looks too complicated i'll have to get someone who knows what they are doing!
