Pubs in NY for Paddys Day

Going to NY for Paddys day and staying near times square

Want to watch the ireland v italy game so its going to be beers for breakfast I presume most irish pubs will be showing this??

Also Arsenal are playing on the 18th. Heard Nevada Smith's 3rd Avenue between 11th & 12 is the best. Other half can got to Macys bloomingdales etc any other good boozers to watch the game

Anyone know of any decent boozers for the day or would it be better going to the boozers around the parade

Shades of Green on E15th between 3rd & 4th ave is a nice Irish pub with nice grub. Its a little bit dow out of the way so it wont be too hectic.

There is an Irish pub on w 33 rd street called Blarney Rock and it has 14 tvs in it so it shows all sports . Its nothing fancy mind but u can grab a bite to eat here as well and as an added bonus its about 5 mins from macys.
