Pubs in Cavan Town

Hi

Just wondering if anyone can recommend good pubs in Cavan town? Looking for somewhere for a group of 30/40 to have a few drinks and pub grub (platters of food not sit down) on a Sunday evening in the summer. Beer garden would be great.

Somewhere slightly outside Cavan town would also work.

Any thoughts appreciated.

The Derrygarra Inn in Butlersbridge do good pub food and it is an atmospheric and easily accessible spot.

The Meadow View is on the Dublin Road on the way into Cavan town. Food is good in it. The above link will give you more info.

McMahons in the center of town is the place to go..usually have a live band there. Or try the Imperial.

Would second the Derragara town but it is quite a bit outside the town. The imperial in cavan town is grand.
