My novel is due to be published shortly. I want to publicise it and I haven't ruled out engaging a publicity agent to plan a campaign.

Any advice on how to find an agent and be fairly sure they know what they are about? What kind of fees are they likely to charge?

No idea about an agent- but have hosted a number of launches in the past- needs a lot of effort

Sounds great, What group is your novel targeted at or of interest to? there are so many organisations but I feel an agent is essential to achieve max publicity. I have no experience of publishing but like everything it who you know.
With e-readers I expect that is a large market today.

Have you discussed it with your publisher, I would expect that they would be handling most of this?
