Join the Griffith College Toastmasters Club.
All are welcome. Feel free to visit us anytime. Only €30 per half year if you decide to join!
Our meetings are held every Tuesday 7pm - 8.30pm in Room A110 at Griffith College, South Circular Road, Dublin 8.
  • At work, we need to communicate effectively with our bosses, our colleagues, our staff, clients, customers, outside consultants and as managers we need to be able to lead teams of people at work.
  • As parents, we need to communicate effectively with our children, convey to them our experiences, convince and lead them in their youth.
  • As individuals in our communities, we need to communicate effectively with each other and within groups for the greater good of all members. In this way we can demonstrate effective leadership for the success of various community projects.
So it is wise to do whatever we can to improve our communicational skills. Toastmasters is a worldwide public speaking club which enables men and women to practice public speaking in a friendly supportive atmosphere. And believe it or not - it is great fun!

I run the Toastmasters Club here in my spare time and we find it hard to get members. So I thought your site would be ideal!
 
You have a section for Education and Training so I thought it would be helpful for people. And we could do with some financially trained members!
 
Sorry I had not read the posting guidelines or I read them a long time ago and had forgotten. Well there is absolutely no conflict of interest, you can see by the price to join. If you look up Toastmasters.org you will see that they are a purely non-profit organisation. We could not get the students interested in joining here so we are advertising outside. I dont honestly think anyone reads the adverts sites. Maybe they do! I will try them.
