public service transfer of service scheme?

I have applied for a job in the civil service and am currently employed in a public service organisation. Would anyone have any experience of rules governing transfer of pension, service, etc. or any websites that may carry further info in that area, thanks

Hi TB,

Have you spoken to any one in the HR department in your old organisation? They are usually very helpful. Also it is worth contacting the relevant trade unions.

There may be some discussion of whats called "knock for knock" in the pensions forum.
