Public Service, Re-employment pay scales: SNA redundant in '11.

My wife was made redundant from her special needs assistant job in September 2011.

She is currently seeking employment as an special needs assistant.

My question is: will my wife be on the new reduced pay scale or will she be given credit for her previous service and be put on to the old pay scale?
