Public Notary and Apostille

Hi

We need to provide a power of attorney to our Spanish Lawyer through a notarised document that is legalised with an apostille. I'm based outside of Dublin and was wondering what is the easiest and quickest way of achieving this. I can use a local public notary but would I then need to bring the document to the Dept of Foreign Affairs on Stephens Green? What is their postal service like in terms of speed and efficiency? Many thanks.

Hi almo

Many thanks for the reply. What can the Spanish Embassy do? Would I need to call to them in person?

HI house, I can talk form dealing with the German and Croatian, oh and Canadian Embassies, when looking for forms notarised. Just give them a phonecall and if they can't help direct they will have at least numbers of someone who can. It's worth a try anyway!
Good luck!
