Public liability Insurance - pay before seeing terms and conditions?

Hi,

I have an IT contracting company and am on the lookout for Public Liability Insurance.
I have got a quote of €367 which includes:

Public & Products Liability: 6,500,000
Employers Liability: €13,000,000
Money on Premises/In Transit: €10,000
Business Interuption: Indemnity period 12months - €35,000
General Contents: €10,000

It seems like a good quote to me but here's the strange part - I have asked the company for a policy document detailing the cover and the terms and conditions and they have refused!
They want full payment up front before sending any documents to me.
I have other insurances (Car, House..) and I always have got to check the terms before commiting to purchasing the insurance.

Does anyone else find this strange?

ps Mods - I'm new here so was unsure if this was a business or pure insurance question - feel free to move if I have posted incorrectly.

Thanks

Mik

Very strange indeed, also the quote you got is very very low. I have received quotes of around the 12K or 13K for the same type of cover. I assume you have 1 employee and you currently and in the future do not intent to sub contract?

Yep - tis a good quote all right.
And only me working in the company at present and for the forseeable future.

I realise it's quite a while back but what was your experience with the liability insurance and would you recommend the broker/insurer?

Given that the op hasn't logged in for over 3 years you might be waiting a while for an answer.
