ptsb problems affecting some customers' social welfare payments

Before I start making phone calls for my relative - does anyone know if there's a reason for SW payments not being paid today?

It always drops into bank account (PTSB) on Friday.

Not seeing any reportage online.

Strike that - I see a headline in Irish Independent, Times didnt have it.

Yes we have been told that salaries are not going into PTSB accounts at the moment as there are delays with SEPA payments

If salaries are also delayed, it sounds like a bank problem, not a DSP problem. If so, there's no point in contacting DSP, they will not be able to do anything.

Some PTSB customers are experiencing delays in sending and receiving payments due to a technical issue today.

This clearly relates to the issue reported all over the news of SEPA payments with PTSB and 6 European banks. Not a DSP problem.

The PTSB App had an apology up when I logged in at 07.00 this morning. It's now sorted - for me at any rate.

"Unknown error" when trying to log in using the app after entering PAN digits.

My Irish and UK payments hit my AIB accounts as usual in the early hours this morning. One smallish UK payment may not arrive until Monday 02 Dec, no panic yet.

Similar "unexpected error" message still coming up on the App and it's mid morning, when they said it should be fixed!

Just announced on RTE Radio 1. PTSB SEPA not working and payroll/pensions delayed due to an issue with a service supplier AND users experiencing problems with the PTSB app.
