For the last few weeks I have been having trouble with my PTSB debit card authentication process
I first noticed it when I tried to pay my car tax online. It wouldn't clear, so I rang PTSB. After nearly 40 mins on the phone I got to talk with somebody. She said it was an ongoing problem with the motor tax online service and that I should pay for it over the phone (that wasnt an option so I had to fill out a paper form - for the first time in about 15 years! - and pay that way)
Thought no more of it.
However, I have since tried to purchase a few small items online and the authentication process still won't work
Has anybody else here experienced this issue with their PTSB card?
PTSB have introduced Strong Customer Authentication to make online shopping more secure and to comply with the PSD2 regulation. You may need to configure this before purchasing online.
