Noticed that the former People's Bank - now the back to basics and understanding what people want and we will do opposite Bank - be warned that some well meaning but deranged official in the Credit Card operation:
- will bounce all debits one you are 1c over a limit or have missed a payment
- won't tell you they have done this
- will cancel the direct debit
- even though they have always paid these before
- and are happy to do it though they know your overall balances are in credit (in their books) for 10k plus.
They should be commended for their continuance of:
- don't tell the customer;
- maximise the hassel;
- crap banking at its best.
