PTSB App and Site issues

Anyone notice the issues with the PTSB app and website of late. I can no longer login via the app. it takes me through the authentication only to take me right back to the login step. This started a number of weeks back so it's not just a temporary blip for which I would not be concerned. I have tried removing/re-adding the app and have even updated IOS to no avail. I then started to use the website (old school) to login and that seems to work ok but this morning I see issues there again with login attempts returning to the login stage without actually logging me in successfully. Also when I do finally log in after 3 attempts and want to transfer money I noticed they now force you to add comments to make a transfer; these comments were optional before and I would not use them when transferring between my PTSB accounts. it just adds more clicks to the process and overall reduces the experience. its surprising for a big bank to have such poor digital services experience for its end users.

Working fine for me too, both app and website. I transferred between my accounts during the week and wasn't prompted for a comment.

This happened to me before with the app. I’m afraid I can’t quite remember the fix, but I do recall noticing that even after deleting and reinstalling the app (on iPhone) that the PAN was still entered by default so that must have been cached locally on the phone. How I got back to re-registering the PAN on the phone, that’s the bit I can’t remember, sorry! Maybe I removed it on the open24 website?

I had logon issues with PTSB application some months ago.
Advice from their technical staff was to remove "face recognition logon".
Removing this and opting to manually enter credentials resolved the issue for me.

How/why was it doing that since it always asks for 3 random digits of the 6 digit PAN? In any case, configuring things so that a very sensitive piece of data is stored and automatically entered seems like a huge security compromise.

PTSB app on IOS does not have FaceID recognition?
