PS3 is finally coming down in price.

What is the 40 or 60 GB used for. I assume to store game levels.

Is a 40 enough?

In HMV about 30 min ago it was 640 -> 499

You can get a 40gb version fro 399 as well.

Difference is smaller memory and you cannot play ps2 games on it.

Smyths however have a much better offer on the xbox 360. for one week only they are selling it for 399 with 3 games one of them halo3 cant remmebr the other 2 and 2 wireless controllers.

For what it's worth...according to my two teenagers... XBox and Wii are still ahead of the PS3 for value for money etc.

Good value if you are looking for a cheap blu Ray player.
