Congratulations- it seems you got a pay rise or perhaps worked more hours

Oh I wish I get 375 a week. According to the above , I think that I should be on PRSI , class *AX"
In any event , my worry was that "AL" was allowable for pension purposes - it would seem to be , so , many thanks for this helpful and reassuring reply.

On reading the above , information, I notice something - I went from 350 a week to 375 a week. This occurred about 18 months ago. Nothing was said to me , which was a bit strange ! I notice that up to 352 the employee pays "Nill" - my employer is very tight - I was always curious why I got this rise without anything being said !! I presume there is no advantage to the employer paying me over the 352 rate !?I was in the public service and retired after 35 years - before this job - I copy and paste from the above information-
Paste-
Employer PRSI is not chargeable on share-based remuneration.
I wonder has the above anything to do with my very unexpected pay rise !!They are very mean and frugal !!!
Just a rather strange event !!! Though much appreciated

If you're being paid Minimum Wage, then your hourly pay would have been €10.20 from 1 Jan 2021,
this would have increased to €10.50 from 1 Jan 2022,
and to €11.30 from 1 Jan 2023.
