PRSI & Health Levy Calculation to date

can anyone explain to me how to calculate a PRSI & Health Levy value on a sum of €58,939.15 for first 9 months of 2008?

I get a value of €3008.42 but my employer is getting a value of €3030.46

I worked it out as follows so maybe you can see where I went wrong?

9 months of €551 = 4959

50,700-4959 = 45741 @ 4% = 1829.64

58,939.15 @ 2% = 1178.78

Add both together to get

1829.64 + 1178.78 = €3008.42
