PRSA v's Pension. Simply question Hopefully

Hello All,

I am very new to PRSA and pensions in general.
I am self employed,29, and am wondering which is the best option for me.

basically what is the difference between a PRSA and a another Pension scheme. I know this may be a silly question but I am little confused.

Have you read the many posts on PRSAs and how they compare to other pension options (personal pension plans/Retirement Annuity Contracts, occupational pension schemes etc.)? Also the Pensions Board website?

Nope I have not, I thought I could extract the releavnt information for the experienced people on the forum. instead of reading through loads of information.
