I've a PRSA with Irish Life, paying 1%AMC a year. Is there providers that offer execution only with the likes of Vanguard funds for less than 1k a year?

The 1% is a contract charge!

You are already paying more than €1000pa

I'm pretty sure I remember somebody reporting on here that Standard Life are now offering a PRSA contract with 100% allocation and an AMC of (I think) 0.65%. If my memory isn't completely failing me, Standard Life offer a suite of linked Vanguard index funds.

Perhaps one of the brokers that regularly contribute on here could confirm or correct me.

Correct Sarenco, they offer a rebate on the 0.9% amc for transfers of €100,000+

They go down to 0.45% for a personal pension using the Vanguard World Equity fund. Can't transfer from a PRSA to a personal pension though. The OP can always transfer the single premium into the PRSA and start a personal pension plan at 0.45%

Thanks Steven

I've often wondered why it's not possible to transfer assets to a personal pension from a PRSA - it seems an odd rule.

That's because you are looking for a logical explanation. There are so many rules in pensions that defy any logic that I've lost count!
