my husband has been given notice of redundancy and will be receiving statutory redundancy payment. He has been paying into a PRSA through his employment payroll even though the employer did not make contributions into this PRSA. My husband is 52 and we are confused as to whether he can withdraw his contributions or receive a lump sum or does he have to leave his contributions there until he is retirement age.
