I am considering using the services of the above discount broker for independent pension advice, would be gratefull for any comments.Don't know anything about the service,picked the name because of listing in best financial buys

I'm not aware that Providence (www.providence.ie) is a discount broker. I think they give full advice and service rather than offering discounts.

I have used them in the past in relation to mortgages and I found them to be very good. I've gone back recently to deal with them in relation to pensions and insurance. They do up a report giving a good range of options and also making recommendations. I like their approach.

I noticed that. They are NOT discount brokers.
