A client has just bought a house which is a protected structure under the 2000 Act.
the rules seem to suggest that you cannot do anything without getting prior approval from the Council.
It is evident that some alterations have been made since 2000 that don't comply.
Client has applied for a Section 57 declaration re new windows and the Council want to come look-see.
The sale was completed without any Vendor sign-off on compliance with the Protected Structure requirements.
Is the new owner liable for reinstatement?
Thanks.
