Hi All,

I am thinking about taking out a self invest pension and buying a commercial property.
I would then lease the property to my own family owned limited company.

Are there are any issues with this?

TIA

There is only one tiny issue.

A SSAP is not allowed to lease a property to anybody with whom it is connected.

All such transactions in an SSAP must be "arms length". So when it comes to buying, renting or selling all transactions must be arms length.

Besides not being allowed (as the others have pointed out), you would have to buy it for cash as lending for property purchases is practically non-existent.
