Hi all,

I, like many of you in the property game like to view my assets performance. Im always drawing up spreadsheets for different things to do with my property at home and abroad.
however Im sure there is a more professional system out there to use, or some of you know links to the useful websites.

The type of info Im looking to produce is:-
-Annual Rental versus annual Inflation( where can you get the yearly inflation stats)
-monthly mortgage less rent
-RentalYield, (BTW, why isnt it calculate on the cost of the property including fees etc). As interest generated when you hold shares would be calculated, less brokers fees.
-the relationship between rental yield and capital appreciation when working out the true gross profit. As when theres a shortfall between the rent and the Mortgage, wont this reduce profit.
-Annual Rental Tax return spreadsheets for home anf Foreign property

I havent come across these spreadsheets before, yet we can assess Budgeting , shopping etc spreads. Many Thanks IN ADVANCE!!

I just keep a simple profit and loss, but would really like to have a spreadsheet that would work out yield as I find the area very confusing.

I've posted a template of the spreadsheet that I use for the P&L to,

There's not much to it but all of the formulas are in place to take account of incomings versus outgoings, might be of use to some.

Because that isn't how the dividend yield is calculated.

The dividend yield/rental yield should always be the income divided by the current price.

Ive been researching this online and Ive come up with one DRAFT report which is far too detailed, but has some useful ideas that could be used in a spreadsheet. Its UK based however and there are a lot of headings not relevant to us. Its also a report that one must commission.

Im still sure there's someone out there who will share their own personal spreadsheet with us! a much less detailed version.

Many Thanks

Koko i can't seem to download it, is there someway to share it out?

It's working alright.

When you click the link you'll be asked to put the three letter code in the box on then top right hand corner. Then click download.

Then wait 45 seconds and click Free Download.

Or else PM me and I'll email it to you.
