Property insurance for landlords

Are there any particular brokers/insurers that are recommended for landlords?

Are there typically conditions applied to landlord property insurance that don't apply to owner occupiers? (......reason for question: a friend sent me his landlord property insurance quote - replete with conditions precedent that seem excessive).

Any comments/insights appreciated.

I use AXA - if you are compliant with regs there's nothing hugely onerous in my view.
