property in marbella

I purchased a property in Marbella beside the beach in 2003 at that time it was 75% finished end now completed with 12months but i have not got possesion of the property as my spanish lawyer says the developer built 2 extra apartments on the site.​

Does anybody know what the situation in Marbella at the moment as I heard up to 100,000 apartments are on hold. Should my lawyer known this .​

I would be slightly concerned that i didnt have keys to my property after 4 years to say the least. I personally would take a trip over there to check it out. You need explaining to you the reason why you havent yet got possession by both the developer and the solicitor.
