Personally I wouldn't but then I have a healthy attitude to risk and little experience in the area.
Perhaps you could enlighten us as to why the accountant feels Bulgaria is a good place to buy rental property? Unless I have been severely misinformed I imagine there are plenty of more stable countries with similar rental yields.
