Hi,

I attended the free workshop of Property Discovery
Programme run by the ICES group, i was wondering if anyone has attended this course, if yes i would like to hear your feedback and your experience of the course, does it worth paying 2k? Thanks

for 2k you get 6 x 2.5 hour sessions. u get to develop these skills: sourcing, time management, management timing, team creation, negotiation, deal analysis, deal structuring, presentation, financial proposal creation, listening attitude, jargon busting, fear and control, property management, team building, networking and communication.

It seems quite expensive. If you go into easons you'ill get books covering all these topics at a fraction of the price.

Why don't you google each of these topics and see what you get for free on the internet.

There's no magic formula that any of these courses or books are going to provide which will make you into a property guru overnight. Most of it comes down to common sense anyway.

I thought the ICES group was a group which facilitated group meetings of like minded investors. It looks like there slipping into the business of extracting money from gullible/naive people who want to "educate" themselves.

The fact that the cousre has so many topics and only runs for 6 x 2.5 hour sessions suggests that they will only be touching on each of the topics, hardly worth a couple of grand.

My company sent me on a time management course which took 3 days alone. (a bit ironic, now that I think about it!)
