I am going away for a year and am told by a friend in the States that it would be handy to have proof of my clean driving licence when we are insuring ourselves (intend to buy a car). Apparently there is some kind of document that the motor tax office here (?) will issue which will state this, and the no claims letter from insurance is not of much use..........
Anyone any idea what it is called, or where I can get one??
