When I boot up my laptop, Skype opens automatically. How do I stop this, as it's annoying me!!

Disabling Skype Home Autostart

Skype 5.5 should have an option to disable the Home screen popup in Compact view




 
Type in msconfig.exe in the run dialog box and select start up processes. Deselect Skype and it shouldn't open when you start up your computer.
