Was wondering if anyone would know ..

Where can I rent professional quality Mikes for usage at a conference?

Noise suppression is required, it will be busy, and participants will be asked to speak on the fly. External sound box that can be connected to laptop by USB is also required, for transfer of voice files.

You could try CSS Audio-Visual.

I don't know them personally, but they have been on the go for many years as I recall, so I'd imagine they are fine to deal with.
