I am interested if anyone has any experience of getting professional added years for employment as an Assistant Lecturer / Lecturer in the Institute of Technology Sector.
I will request the job spec for the job I was recruited to on a permanent basis. I was not entitled to permanency on my first role as I did not have 3 years post qualification experience.
Any real examples would be much appreciated, and if you feel more comfortable please PM me.
I have looked at the calculations and I should get 1 year, but depending on my Job spec, this might rise to 3 years. The circular talks about generally people on the grade and how they are treated and not the specifics.
