Hi,

Does anyone know anything about, or know someone who has bought in the Golden Pearl (Zlatna Perla) resort in Varvara, in the Strandja national park in Bulgaria? Is anyone aware of any difficulties with it?

If so I'd appreciate it if you could contact me, particularly with a private message

Thanks

Hi, there is a ruling of the Supreme Administartive Court in Bulgaria that construction of the Golden Pearl should stop because they are building in a nature Park, adn do not have the environmental impact assesssments. So, currently the construction isillegal.

This was covered in the Sunday Times last Sunday. I tried to find the article on the website for you but could not. It's as Yuliya says, looks like legal battle for the developers. There was talk of them having to demolish the work to date.

Building without permits is rife in such places (bulgaria/romania..) as alot of contractors have strong links with mafia sorts and corruption is the norm so permissions are normaly only a small detail. Amazingly this crowd are telling agents to keep selling. They must have left someone out of the loop..
I would hound whoever sold you the apartment and regardsless of what people say about these markets this 'huge' risk factor is one of the reason they are so cheap.

Problems with Goilden Pearl (Zlatna Perla) investments in Bulgaria

Hi to all!
My name is Victor Ivanov and I am a Bulgarian journalist. Nowadays I am working on a story about the illegal development Golden Pearl near Varvara in Bulgaria. As I know there are some 90 British and Irish investors that have paid for apartments in this development. Unfortunatelu there is a judicial ruling that Golden Pearl is illegal.
What I am looking for are investors that are victims of this company and are willing to tell the public their story.
Please do not hesitate to contact me either by Personal messages or via e-mail. My box is: vivanov@press.zgb.bg

Hello,

My name is Valeria Chankova and I work for the National Television bTV in Bulgaria.
As my colleague from the previous post, I also want to make contacts with people that have bought apartments in the Golden Pearl near Varvara.
I have made two documentary films about the Pearl and the national park Strandja and I have plenty of information about the case. I have contacted two of the buyers from England, but I would like to contact more in order to understand what are the buyers going to do, will they ask their money back and what is the information that KRASH2000 is giving to them.
So, if any of you is interested, please, contact me by e-mail: valeria_chankova@btv.bg
Or send me a private message.

Thanks in advance.
I hope that media interference will help. It is so in practice for the time being.

Greetings,
Valeria

Hi

We have bought in the Golden pearl resort and we are seeking legal advice and trying to get our money back.
Do you know of other people that are doing likewise ?
We are still beig told that the outcome is looking positive for this resort but I`m not convinced.
E @ D Agency said that we will lose our deposit despite the fact that we have not broken any agreement but we are not willing to risk losing anymore money.
Can you offer any further information ?

Thanks
