Having been using GMail for about 6 months ago now thanks to a generous AAm member who sent me an invite. However the last couple of days where I go to http://gmail.google.com/gmail the screen says Loading... (like normal) but then nothing happens and the screen goes blank.

I am using Mozilla browser and was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to how I can overcome this problem and acces my mailbox.

Maybe you should update your browser

You may not need to change your default browser - just run it as required to access Gmail. However if you do want to set IE as your default browser then (in most recent or recently updated versions of Windows) go to Start -> All Programs -> Set Program Access And Defaults and then configure IE as your default browser. Does that make sense? For what it's worth I just logged into Gmail myself and it worked fine in FireFox 1.0.4 running on Windows XP Home SP2.

I have had this problem when trying to access Gmail, and indeed Hotmail, through Firefox at certain times as well. I have kept my version of Firefox up to date.

I too have had this blank screen prob in Firefox (most recent 2 or 3 variants to 1.0.4)
