Problems with GMAIL?

I've noticed over the past 4-5 days when using GMAIL if I use the search tool instead of going into a particular folder I keep getting a message "still working" and it's frozen until I logout out and back in when it works for a very short while. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue?

Usually it shows that you have either a slow connection or a problem with the connection. Mine has been fine after the day it crashed altogether for a bit.
 
known issue with gmail - try using https instead - there's a note about it in gmail support.
 
Yes , I have problems connecting at work , which of course in a network of PC's .
I get a message that the 'URL is too large ''

Gmail works fine at home
