I purchased a 06 car in Nov. has a one year guarantee until Nov 09. I have had continuing problems with the sunroof and hearing sound of wind when driving on the open road, dual , carriageways or motorways - basically any speeds over approx 60 miles an hour. The garage I purchased it in have done a lot to try to fix it but have not succeeded and have now agreed that they will give me a new one. However, when i went about it they are not suggesting a swop for the same value etc but they want me to pay extra for the same year car with more mileage etc - what are my rights here? Am I correct in thinking that I have a right to a swop?
