Problem with picture package menu

Hi - just wondering if anyone can help with this problem. I am trying to download pictures from my camera to my PC but when I click into Picture package menu it says I must first install macromedia flash player to run the programme. But I have Adobe flash player 9 Active X installed which I believe is Macromedia flash player - still doesn't work. I have un-installed and re-installed this flash player as well as the picture package menu all to no avail. This isn't new software as I have been using it quite frequently up until now. I did run a defragmentation on the PC a few days ago - could this have affected the picture pakage menu? Or could norton antivirus be blocking something? If anyone can help I would very much appreciate it.

If you are using the latest Flash it is backward compatible but it may have security issues with loading older versions if the setting are different. It should ask you but it is possible that you are using a pop-up blocker that is stopping this. Thanks Battyb - I disabled the pop up blocker but it didn't work either. Anything else I could try?
