I am building a new house and want good insulation, i also want the greenest of the green as i am all for the planet, there is a new type out made from grass, it is untested but promises to be good, how do i no if this is the one to go for. if i do go for this and in a number of years the quality falls, what kind of prices am i looking at to re do with tried and tested insulation.

i assume its dried grass.... ie hay... otherwise youd have a world of problems regarding rot, acid, internal heat build up, etc...

whats the product?? have they a web site?? any info at all???

Sheeps wool insulation is both"green" and supposed to be very good also there is a type made from recycled newspaper which is green and good and I think both of those are tried and tested.

the poster has described a 'grass' type.. i havent heard of it....
maybe your talking about a 'hemp' based product??? [broken link removed]
